RegPoint Ltd is a health services company focused on bringing wireless technology to the global health care community. RegPoint is one of the first mHealth companies.

Therefore the RegPoint solution was chosen in 2003 by Microsoft for early development on their .NET platform.

In 2003 and again in 2004 AMR (American Medical Review) hosted by Walter Conkrite produced and aired a story  providing insight into the RegPoint Disease Detection-, Surveillance- and Management- solution.

The story, as part of the AMR series aired, was a stand alone “News Break” on Public Television, reaching 30+ million households multiple times during peak and prime time programming in the US.

In addition it was aired internationally via satellite on World Net (US Government and Information Service) to over 200 cities and 127 countries reaching hundreds of television and broadcast system worldwide, as well as embassies and cultural centers worldwide.

Also in 2003, CNN Business news, interviewed RegPoint’s CEO Ms. Sophia Salenius live in their studio in London.

The solution is used to facilitate two-way wireless medical data transfer between individual citizens, health authorities and care providers. It can be used in managing chronic disease conditions for individuals, a global warning system that release potentially life-saving information and alerts on natural and manmade catastrophes within minutes  and/or as a first stage pandemic disease detection tool at the individual citizen level.
